Kid says to his dad , dad why are we covered in piss? , dad says coz them over there chucked it ,! , what the West Ham fans ? Asked the kid ,No son our own fans did it ! , said the dad , but l don’t understand dad why would they do that ? Am I right thinking that UEFA eliminated Spuds from the Conference Lge thing because their rules were that you had to play the tie if you have 13 fit players in the squad available ( Spuds had 8 positive cases from a squad of 25 ?) ? Is this essentially now the rule the Prem have adoped too?
If so, is it possible Levy and co were, as some suspect, pulling a fast one, buying more time for Conte to coach the team, get them fit, get players back etc. before a more testing run of fixtures and of course the real chance of a trophy via the Carabou/EFL cup ( League Cup to us old gits) ? Everything Levy and co do I wouldnt trust. The lengths they went to in order to stop us getting the London stadium etc.. ( yeah I realise it is not a proper footie stadium but they just didnt want us getting any benefit). Remember the hold up to building their ground? There was some site owned by a company that they needed to purchase that the owner wouldnt sell. Then strangely a fire consumed it?
They try every underhand trick in the book and tend to get away with it unfortunately. Or do I detest Spuds so much I am seeing things that are not there?
Whatever the case, just hope we can give them a game and hope things go our way even though they are, as usual, doing whatever they can to "tilt the table" in their direction. Are there a more odious and dislikeable club, chairman and supporters?
